Michael Newberry, Wind Breaker, 2010, oil on panel, 9 x 12 inches sold

This is from my recent trip to La Jolla, late May 2010. This torn up umbrella was haphazardly set up as a wind breaker on a long stretch of beach. There was a fair amount of wind this day too. I like the playful colors of this wind breaker and the changes in intensity of the color in the cast shadows.
